Tacos
Ingredients
Total cooking time: ~25 minutes
For the chilli:
- 500g grassfed beef mince
- 2 cans red kidney beans
- 1 can diced tomatos
- Half cup of passata (plain pasta sauce)
- 1 onion
- 4 cloves garlic
Spices (liberal sprinkle of each):
- Tumeric
- Chilli flakes
- Cumin
- Garlic powder
- Paprika
- Pepper
- Salt
- Parsley
Additions:
- Iceberg lettuce
- Cherry tomatos
- Sour cream
- Salsa
- Flour tortillas
- Jalapenos
- Cheddar cheese
Method
Making the chilli:
- Dice onions and garlic, and brown with olive oil in large pot on high-medium.
- Add the mince and break down with wooden spoon, add salt and pepper and cook until just browned.
- Add diced tomatos and passata, mix and add spices.
- Drain and wash beans with sieve, add to pot.
- Add more of spices if needed, to adjust to your desired taste
- Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes
- Warm tortillas in oven/microwave, serve with desired additions
