Welcome, Web traveller!

What is Blumchen?

Blumchen.cafe is a place for me to practice my coding skills as I share a little slice of my life on the internet. Blumchen (with an umlaut) is the German word for 'little flower' and I chose this name to reflect my love for flowers and nature. You might remember this site as Cocopie or, (if you are a veteran) as Cocogal. But you can read more about my site in the Archive!

Who are you?

My name is Grace, although some people have taken to calling me Coco, and I am the webmaster of this site. I am a stay at home young mum who loves gardening, animals, music, history and video games. I live in rural Australia on sheep farms with my boyfriend, his cat and our baby son. I'm not a very 'online' person, with only a few random social medias, and spend most of my days in my garden, playing with the baby or with my friends/family. You can learn more about me Here~

A new purpose...

I had a very spiritual experience in where I realised I had a strong pull to learn about the pagan roots of my ancestors and teach others as much as I can. What was once just a site for sharing web graphics and blogging, I've decided to also write about everything I learn so other can learn the beauty of the pagan faith. Wait, aren't you Catholic...?

About

Adopt an animal guardian (or scíath, in old Irish) who protects and watches over your site, each with it's own unique blessing. Visit the adoption grove.

The Hare

This page is protected by the Hare, which are associated with the moon, fertility, and rebirth. It is also said when the Aos Sí visit the human realm, they take the form of a Hare. The Hare whispers a blessing of abundance into this site.
